Gluten Free PB&J Tacos

Gluten Free PB&J Tacos are a family favorite

My now-15 year old was the creator of this now family favorite.  I believe he was around four years old when he asked my husband to make them for him one day for lunch.

The Peanut Butter Bash is a monthly dessert challenge which uses peanut butter and a “mystery” ingredient.  Each month the “mystery ingredient” changes.  (Yes, group members are told about the ingredient in advance.)

March’s challenge:  The special mystery ingredient is jam or jelly!

For my contribution to March’s Peanut Butter Bash I have decided to share our family’s PB&J Tacos.

Here is the recipe for this quick dessert or snack.  While the focus for this month’s Peanut Butter Bash is jam or jelly, you can add other yummy ingredients instead or in addition to the PB&J.  Pictured above the bottom two tacos are filled with PB and raspberry jam. The one on top of them is PB with Gluten Free (and artificial food color free) marshmallow creme.  The one on top has PB and Nutella.

    1. MY teenager actually came up with the recipe when he was about four years old. (I updated the post to reflect how old he was when he created the recipe.) He asked my husband to make them one day for lunch. It was a hit and we have been making them every since. Thank you for the comment. I hope you try them! ~Adrienne

    1. Miranda, I will pass on your suggestion to him. Maybe I’ll just have him add to my blog here. 🙂 What is interesting is that my 11yr old (son #2) has decided that he wants to become a Chef. He has always been “into” food. After watching several cooking and food shows (thanks to our streaming service) he is more determined than ever to be a Chef. ~Adrienne

    1. Lora, Thanks! I was not home when the first ones were made. When my son asked for them again, I had to ask my husband what my son meant. Sometimes, three or four Gluten Free PB&J Tacos just hit the spot! Thanks for your comment. ~Adrienne

    1. Rebecca, these are yummy! My boys eat them often. Fast to make and fun to eat. 😀 Thank you for your comment. ~Adrienne

  2. Thanks! Yes, I built this myself. I use Jetpack which gives me the template layout and colors. It’s available with WordPress. ~Adrienne
